RSS Help

Introduction

RSS news feed are a simple way to spread news information over the internet. RSS is an acronym for Really Simple Syndication, and that's exactly what it is.

At TTS we use RSS to publish vessels positions and other information that may be of interest to people.

RSS allows people to subscribe to a source of information that will be updated from time to time. It allows people to get updates every time they are on the internet without having to visit a web site, allowing people to read the news at their leasure.

Getting Started

First of all we need to know what operating system you are using.

If you already have Mozilla Firefox regardless of operating system it makes use of RSS as "live bookmarks". For more info on Mozilla Firefox take a look at our Firefox help page.
